I Would've Waited for You

Tell me everything you fear
Show me everything you feel
I just want to kiss every fear
Every tear and every emotion

Laughing til we have tears
In our eyes there is glimmer
Joy leaping out of our hearts
Thumping - happiness is life

You bring me a higher love
Colour my life bold and vivid
Your love is visionary art
It's truth, timeless and full

How I was afraid to love
Secret me safe behind a smile
So afraid that I would fall
But when you are with me
Every hour I have waited
For each moment - you
Standing in front of me
All that has built up inside

I would've waited for you
For the entirety of my life
To be with you is to treasure
Eternally - the rest of my life
Even into the afterlife........

A Just Me Moment

This morning my mind raced
Forward to meet you
Gently tapping my forehead
My eyes closed, feeling
This release of relaxation
Turning my head to the side
Lids slowly rise - I sigh
Another day without you
Laying by my side

Waiting for the clouds to break 
Chasing the cracks is the sun
Waiting it's time to shine 
Oh how today I crave it's warmth
Let it be me the sun finds first
Today I feel exposed to 'alone'

I cuddle myself and imagine
It's you wrapping me tight
A smile finds my mouth
One thought puts me right
It's true what they say
The best things in life
Are those that we await

Like the finest of wines
Patiently matured
To never be rushed
It's to be enjoyed, endured
The richness of a sip 
Sweetness of a swirl
You can only want more
Time after time - evermore

I feel alone sometimes 
When all I see is space
Quietness is too quiet
But the thoughts of you
The time spent with you
Moments shared with you
A future I imagine with you
Fills me with beautiful joy

Deep Talking

You are a new world to me
One that I have never seen
Your face fills me with intrigue
Your mind tantalises to tease

I have written you words,
Sentences, notes and letters
In my mind each and every day
My mind and my thoughts
Deep in thought - talking

Your eyes have seen beyond
Minds that could never ever be
Prepared to comprehend
What you have seen

Holding yourself back, control
You feel intensely - Wildly
Too much too often
Ever present - you wait
Until it's your time
That you know will come

It's simple
There is no tip toeing
Around the words unsaid
They speak volumes
We understand the language
That exists in the silences
We share in the subtext
That sits amongst the space
Between all the lines

You  - A whole new world
That you invited me to live in
I want to be trapped by you
In to something wonderful
You could never asphyxiate me
I'm in a place I want to be

Door to Happiness

It's the door to happiness
That you open from within
It's your kiss, meeting my kiss
It's when your hand travels
The contours of my naked flesh
You know my guarded moments
Of the past without words spoken
But you love me all the same
How you take me to places
I have never known to exist
You are the letters of my day
Of every day in a week
You are in the air I breathe
In every beat of my heart
You are the vibrant red blood
That flows so alive in my veins
You are what makes me tremble
The contractions and the pulses
On the edge I quietly scream freely
At the joy you bring to and within
Happiness is showered upon me
In each and every drop of water
That bursts as it touches my skin
I live in the most wonderful place
You are the city within the country
You opened the door within me
To let all the happiness to begin

The moon shines with brilliance

The stars twinkle like diamonds

The sky shows me distances afar

In all of it’s magnificence 

In all of it’s complete silence

Is where our thoughts of each other mix
