Together we meet in my sleep

Red is the hue - petals from the rose

Dropping from your finger tips

Weaving a path - with each step

You take me to places unknown

Tease me with your mind’s adventure

I follow the petals of the rose

Take me where you want to go

In a garden of Eden warm water flows

It bathes me smooth and soft as silk

The gentle sun glows from my skin

Rose petals lead me further in

In the canopy of the garden

With the music of the water flow

Sun glimpsing in through the trees

There you see me – I see you

I present you my petals

Collected from the trail you left

Every single one to be with you

We picnic on the river bank

There is no place we need to be

No time that we need to catch

Dream time is ours to please

Imagination endless and free

Anything is possible in my dreams

You are the keeper of my heart

The stimulation of my mind

At the core of my desires – you live

All the dreams I have to share

All the life we have to live

Swirling swishing, erupting all around

Extending from the inside to the out

Reaching to the finest of tips, pinnacles

Speeding like a roller coaster ride

The drilling deep fast and slow

Thoughts and emotions wrapped

Together bound, dance like ribbon

Wild and gentle as come the breeze

Adrenalin rushing, heart pumping

Visions explode, clarity appears

It’s a place I know I want to be

My body trembles - excitement

Anticipation teasing – never subsiding

Emotions driving me insanely bound

Rock my world, turn it upside down

Cogs turning, staircases spiraling

Climbing the stairs – up and down

Chasing the clock - hands ticking time

It goes so fast as I wind and wind

Someone waive the magic wand

Bring me closer – in a blink of an eye

I open my eyes – I’m not in a dream
