Intricately you twirl my eyes to follow you

Inviting me in as you coil down

I reach the final little point and then

Burrowed way down inside

Maybe life hides

Will I be lucky to see it

Take a peak – just a glimpse

Maybe you just flow with the tide

The seas and sand

Patterned and unique

Is your texture your journey

Are the markings your life

When you spin

You have me hypnotized

Tranced in your dance

You take me day dreaming

Show me sights unseen

Have we forgotten our place in this world

Lost ourselves in a mission of greed

Taken for granted the air that we breathe

Lacked interest in the warmth of the sun

Underestimated the passion of almighty seas

Stars that light our way and the pure delight

Of having a day – shining light on our life

Or the darkness of the night – twinkling bright

A blanket of stars watching over our dreams

Rain so pure – falling from the sky - Quenching

Flowers that bloom and leaves lush green

All nature’s gifts that we are born to receive

Why aren’t we jumping through the moonlight

Why aren’t we dancing under the stars

With the sound of water and earth touching bare feet

Capture the artistry - fields of colour - vivid with life

Inhaling the calm essence of flowers when they breathe

Be awaken by singing birds and the rustling of trees

Feel energized as first light rises from its sleep

Such simple pleasures available for free

Let’s lose ourselves in mother earth instead

Forget about greed - find ourselves again

Feelings surpass what we know

What is love?

Or Emotions

With so many faces

So many layers

Fulfilling us in so many ways

Found in bizarre circumstances

Or the most unexpected places

Surrounding us like white space

We are born with it – we connect with it

We grow beyond ourselves

With it in our life

Some spend their life toying with it

It has been lost – found

Manipulated - twisted

Mistreated – disrespected

Taken for granted - unappreciated

Torn apart and broken down

Until all meaning and purpose

Is shattered like glass

Love has many layers - many faces
