Over and over
Do we ever reach the ultimate
Extremity of our emotional core
Emotions explode
Feelings surpass what we know
Entering the unknown
But when it feels so right
It’s like a brilliant light
Is shining from inside
What is love?
One of many feelings
Or Emotions
With so many faces
So many layers
Fulfilling us in so many ways
Found in bizarre circumstances
Or the most unexpected places
Surrounding us like white space
We are born with it – we connect with it
We grow beyond ourselves
With it in our life
Some spend their life toying with it
It has been lost – found
Manipulated - twisted
Mistreated – disrespected
Taken for granted - unappreciated
Torn apart and broken down
Until all meaning and purpose
Is shattered like glass
