Looking at the white space glaring back at my face
Thinking about the words about to flow to the page
Words holding meaning, thought and moments
Dancing with me - the words hug every emotion
Each word is singing its own song - flying free
Every single letter of a word has a part to play
They know how important it is to have their say
Words of a poem born through the writer's mind
Given life a story through the readers eyes
Taking them on journey's forever entwined
The poets words once new - now redefined
Evolving and changing through each readers mind
A poem once born has lived journeys over time
